Digital Garden – I do not only want to use it as a metapher for my presence in the web but also as a bridge for enhanced visual access to it.
So a bit about me:
– I prefer pictures over sentences and icons over words.
– I love concepts and ideas and to visualize them.
So here we go now.
I see some synergies thinking about WordPress structures and the areas of my digital garden / my interests:
The WordPress taxonomy Category is a good match to a place in my digital garden which then represents one area of my interests.
They also allow for hierarchy, which is. a perfect match to my idea of beeing able to zoom into a place of my digital garden.
This needs an example: Consider the relax area by the sauna house (which could be ideally close to a private beach of a nice lake that allows for swimming and watersports ;-)) In the sauna house there is also a dry area for relaxing after sauna or what I love most: a steam sauna. This relaxatiin room also has a part whete a buddha is sitting and smiling – inviting to meditate or do some yoga or tai chi. And Voila. So on the overall floor plan of the garden , there you would see the sauna house hosting the category wellness. If you click the sauna house you would see its explorable floor plan and the room for relaxation would be showing the (sub) categories Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation and Awareness. And if you click on Tai Chi you might find some posts about my Yang-Style Tai Chi experience, insights, ideas, ToDos or experiments.
